Privacy Policy — Xem Ngày Tốt
The short version
Xem Ngày Tốt has no user accounts and we, the developer, do not collect, store or receive your personal data. The dates you save and the reminders you set are stored only on your device. The app's core features work fully offline. The app does show advertising through the Google AdMob SDK, and Google may collect an advertising ID and device and usage data to serve and measure those ads, as described below.
Data we collect
None directly. Xem Ngày Tốt has:
- No user accounts and no sign-in
- No developer analytics, no developer server, and no developer tracking
- No sale of personal data — we receive no personal data to sell
The only third-party data processing in the app is advertising via Google AdMob (see “Advertising — Google AdMob” below).
Information stored on your device
To work, the app keeps the following only on your device:
- Saved days: the dates you choose to save, the occasion they are for, and any notes you add
- Reminders you set for a saved day (delivered as local notifications on your device)
- Birth year(s) you enter to personalise day scoring, and your app settings
This information never leaves your device except through the advertising SDK described below, which does not receive your saved days, reminders or birth year. You can delete all of it at any time by clearing the app's data in Android Settings, or by uninstalling the app.
Advertising — Google AdMob
Xem Ngày Tốt is free and supported by ads served through the Google AdMob SDK (Google Mobile Ads SDK). To show and measure ads, Google may collect and process data including:
- Your device's advertising ID (Android Advertising ID / AAID)
- Device information such as device model, operating system version, language and approximate (coarse) location derived from your IP address
- Ad interaction and usage data, such as which ads were shown, viewed or clicked, and app diagnostics
Google uses this data to provide, personalise (where you have consented) and measure advertising, and to prevent fraud and abuse. We do not control and do not receive this data. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of ad personalisation, at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. Consent (Google UMP)
Where required — for example for users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland — the app shows a consent form provided by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalised ads are requested. You can accept, reject or customise those choices in the form, and you can change them later from the app's settings where that option is offered. If you do not consent to personalised ads, you may still see non-personalised ads.
Internet permission
The app requests INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE and AD_ID-related permissions solely so the AdMob SDK can load ads and the UMP consent flow can run. The day-finding features themselves are calculated entirely on your device and work offline; if ads cannot load (for example in airplane mode), they are simply hidden and every feature keeps working.
Notifications
If you set a reminder for a saved day, the app schedules a local notification on your device. No reminder data is sent to us or to any server. You can turn reminders off in the app or in Android Settings at any time.
About the day-finding content
Xem Ngày Tốt presents dates, scores and explanations based on the Vietnamese lunar calendar and Vietnamese folk tradition and reference works (including Ngọc Hạp Thông Thư). This content is provided for cultural reference and entertainment only. It is not advice of any kind — medical, legal, financial or otherwise — and it does not guarantee the outcome of any event or decision.
Children
Xem Ngày Tốt is a general-audience lifestyle and reference app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children; advertising in the app is served by Google AdMob under Google's own policies.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this same address with a new effective date.
